Business EventsCable for a new plant is usually picked from a catalogue and a long email thread, more or less blind. For three days in northern Hanoi, that choice can be made by hand: power cable and optical fibre, switchgear, cable production lines and charging-infrastructure equipment all stand in one hall, with the people who make them next to the stands.
The show runs under three names at once — WCSV 2026, OFC & ICT Vietnam and CWEMMME Vietnam — which means one roof covers an electrical equipment and cable fair, an optical fibre and telecom technology show, and an industrial section devoted to machines, lines and raw materials. The organisers say past editions drew more than 7,580 trade visitors and 150+ exhibitors from over ten countries and territories across roughly 5,000 sq m; 81% of visitors found a new supplier there, 76% met the partner they came for and 95% were satisfied with how the show was run.
The short version
Wire and cable: power cable, HV and EHV, XLPE, cable for solar and wind generation, underground and fire-resistant, signal, data and RF
Optical fibre and telecom: single-mode and multi-mode fibre, network and optical equipment, transceivers, converters, accessories
Electronic wire and connection systems: audio, video and data cable, power and winding wire, industrial harnesses
Equipment, machinery and materials: cable production and testing lines, energy solutions, raw materials
Accessories and electrical devices: heat shrink and joints, switchgear, lightning protection, protective components
The hall is aimed at cable and electrical equipment manufacturers, EPC and M&E contractors, distributors and trading companies, energy firms and the renewable sector, industrial parks, factories and project owners. If you are specifying cable for a substation, running fibre into a new building or looking for someone to take on harness assembly, one walk through the aisles covers the whole shortlist that normally takes three separate meetings.
The 2026 calendar of the Vietnam Exposition Center lists CEG (Turkey) and Spex as the organisers, and industry seminars are among the things promised to participants. The venue itself is an exhibition complex its operator calls the largest in Southeast Asia: 130,000 sq m of indoor exhibition space on a site of about 900,000 sq m, in Dong Anh, roughly fifteen kilometres from the nearest airport.
Entry terms for visitors have not been announced yet, so registration and any fee are worth checking closer to the date. Companies that want a stand are offered three formats: space only from 18 sq m for a custom build; a standard 9 sq m booth with frame, fascia name board, carpet, one table and two chairs, lighting and a power socket; and premium stands built to a bespoke design. Consultation and a quote are promised free of charge, with no obligation to book.
If your project comes down to cable, fibre or switchgear, these three days are one of those rare moments when the whole market you need fits into a single hall.
