Business EventsNorthern Vietnam sews for Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger and Lululemon, yet its factories still hunt abroad for the fabrics and trims those orders need. For three days in Hanoi that hunt moves into a single hall: makers of yarn, fabric, trims and finished garments bring samples and talk to Vietnamese factories, trading houses and buyers directly.
This is the sixth Vietnamese edition of the INTEX & AFF textile series and the first one to leave Ho Chi Minh City — the fifth ran there in May 2026 at Trung tâm Hội chợ và Triển lãm Sài Gòn (SECC). The organising committee announces 4,500 sq m of floor space, more than 150 exhibiting companies and 6,000+ trade visitors. Hanoi was picked as the gateway to the northern garment clusters: Bắc Ninh, Hải Phòng, Hải Dương, Hưng Yên and Vĩnh Phúc.
The floor is split into eight product areas:
It pays off most for garment factories and their sourcing teams, trading companies, retailers and local fashion labels: in one trip you can work through suppliers for the whole chain, from yarn and cloth down to zippers and labels. If you run production or procurement in the north, a single supplier found here usually covers the cost of the journey.
The organiser is Meorient (Zhejiang Meorient Commerce & Exhibition), a Chinese exhibition operator running 15 textile shows in 2026 across Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia, the UAE, Poland, Mexico, Brazil, South Africa, Saudi Arabia and India. The Hanoi edition is backed by Hiệp hội Dệt May Việt Nam (VITAS, the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association), which counts over 800 member companies, together with Hiệp hội Các nhà bán lẻ Việt Nam (AVR, the retailers association) and Liên đoàn Thương mại và Công nghiệp Việt Nam (VCCI, the chamber of commerce). With VITAS the committee is preparing an industry forum and matchmaking sessions on site.
Over the summer the committee toured the buyers it hopes to bring in: Garco 10 and Dugarco of the state group VINATEX, PPJ Group, Thygesen Textile Vietnam, plus the Vietnamese offices of TikTok Shop and Shopee. The figures the organisers quote from those visits explain the logic of the show: PPJ Group sources roughly 70% of its fabric from Chinese supply chains, exports bring Garco 10 about 90% of revenue, and Shopee and TikTok Shop together hold close to 96% of Vietnamese e-commerce.
The format is strictly B2B: the floor is built for buyers and industry professionals, entry runs on advance visitor registration, and the organiser states that registration carries no fee. A dedicated sign-up page for the Hanoi edition has not been opened yet.
Hanoi has been sewing for the world for decades, but its suppliers have always had to be met one by one. This edition gathers a season worth of sourcing into one trip, so plan a full day for it rather than a half-hour stop.
