About the event

From 16 to 18 September 2026, the OCTF 2026 Intelligent Technology Exhibition takes place at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC), 3VQ8+24C, Đường Trường Sa, Xã Đông Anh, TP. Hà Nội. This is the fourth OCTF Intelligent Technology Exhibition in Vietnam — the previous editions were held at SECC in Ho Chi Minh City in 2023, 2024 and 2025 — and the first one staged in Hanoi. The show is run by Guangdong Guangzhan International Exhibition Co., Ltd together with Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Fair Investment Management Co., Ltd, the two companies behind the OCTF (Overseas Chinese Trade Fair) exhibition network. Opening hours are 09:00–17:00 on all three days; entry is free with visitor registration.

The exhibition occupies more than 5,000 sq m with over 200 booths, around 150 exhibiting companies and more than 2,000 products on display, mostly from leading technology manufacturers in China and across Asia. OCTF runs under the theme “Technology Changes Lifestyle, Innovation Leading the Future”, and the organisers position the 2026 edition within the “Big Market for All — Export to China” programme, which responds to the Chinese Ministry of Commerce initiative on expanding imports and balanced trade, with the core message “connecting North and South, promoting domestic trade and export manufacturing”. Alongside the Chinese exhibitors, a dedicated “Big Market” Vietnam pavilion is set up for Vietnamese companies that want to bring their products and services into the Chinese market.

Products on show at OCTF 2026 fall into five main groups:

  • Intelligent manufacturing: optoelectronics, laser, optics, displays and touch panels, semiconductors, chips, electronic assembly and factory support equipment, new energy, smart manufacturing technology, energy-saving products and solutions, smart housing systems.
  • Smart technology products: audio and Bluetooth headphones, mobile phones, computers and peripherals, drones, robots, smart TVs and displays, small smart appliances, smart lighting, smart locks and security, wearables and personal health devices.
  • Smart retail: brand retailers, unmanned retail, electronic price tags, smart terminals, POS cash registers, self-service checkouts, mobile payments, printing devices, cash register software, weighing scales, supply chain management systems.
  • Artificial intelligence: AI and AIGC, big data models, digital factories, AI chips, intelligent robots, computer vision, recognition technology, intelligent cars.
  • Cross-border e-commerce and integrated services: TikTok, Lazada, cross-border warehousing, logistics and financial payment providers, MCN agencies, ERP and software companies, real estate, investment, human resources, legal and intellectual property consulting.

On the organisers’ own site the 2026 layout is built around three exhibition blocks plus a pavilion for Vietnamese suppliers:

  • Smart Consumer Products zone: smart home devices, home security equipment, smart lighting and whole-house intelligence solutions; 3C digital products and accessories, wearables, audio and video entertainment devices; personal care, home care and health-monitoring products; art toys, IP-based collectibles and cultural derivatives.
  • Smart Manufacturing Technology and Industrial Services zone: AIoT integration for smart hardware, system development and custom hardware–software services; industrial digitalisation, industrial software, operation and maintenance services; workforce services, production operations and outsourced equipment maintenance; localisation packages for smart products (Vietnamese-language interfaces, voltage and standards compliance for Vietnam).
  • Integrated Services zone: cross-border logistics, warehousing and supply chain services; legal, finance and tax, compliance and cross-border IP services; industrial design, engineering, testing and R&D; TikTok/Shopee/Lazada marketplace operation guidance, domestic distribution matchmaking and brand promotion.
  • “Big Market” Vietnam pavilion: a low-cost, high-efficiency platform for Vietnamese producers to reach Chinese buyers, with support services for exporting from Vietnam to China.

The business programme runs on all three days: five main exhibition areas, four large-scale conferences and a dedicated matchmaking area for face-to-face meetings. It includes:

  • An opening ceremony attended by Vietnamese government officials, consulate representatives, industry associations and Chinese and Vietnamese companies.
  • A China–Vietnam electronics manufacturing cooperation seminar focused on Vietnam’s digital transformation needs and the potential for deeper bilateral cooperation in electronics manufacturing.
  • An economic and trade forum between Guangdong (China) enterprises and Vietnamese enterprises in the electronics manufacturing sector.
  • Trade dialogues with invited key buyers, including VIP services for major clients (hotels, flights, restaurants, transfers).
  • Product demonstrations, lectures, workshops, company roadshows, immersive technology experience activities and networking events.
  • Cooperation with TikTok and MCN multi-channel networks: content programming, creator collaborations, digital rights management and sales support, helping exhibitors build an e-commerce supply chain in Vietnam.

The audience the organisers are targeting is equally specific:

  • Vietnamese industry associations and their member companies, such as the Ho Chi Minh City Automation Association and the Ho Chi Minh City Electrical and Mechanical Enterprises Association.
  • Industrial parks and the companies inside them: Vietnam has close to 300 industrial parks, with the northern ones concentrating on computers, electronics, optical products and machinery, and the southern ones on machinery, textiles and metal products.
  • Contract and line manufacturers, and electronics producers across computers, mobile phones, home appliances, information equipment, audio and video products, medical devices, security products, industrial control and automation.
  • Investors, government representatives, researchers and academics working with AI, machine learning, robotics, IoT, big data and cybersecurity.
