Exhibition «ProPak Hanoi 2026» (processing and packaging technology)

About the event

If your shortlist this autumn runs to a new filling line, export-grade packaging materials or a coding-and-labelling supplier you can actually stand in front of, Hanoi lets you put the options side by side in one trip. The ProPak brand has served the processing and packaging industry in southern Vietnam for years; this is its first outing in the north of the country.

The organiser's published figures: 200 exhibiting companies across 8,000 sqm of gross exhibition space, 4,000 trade visitors and 20 countries and territories represented. A co-located show, DrinkTech, covers beverage technology in the same hall on the same days.

The exhibit list is split into ten groups — in effect a whole production line, from raw material to the finished pallet:

  • — Packaging tech: adhesive tape and strips, aseptic packaging, bag closing and sealing, bag making and forming, cartoning machines
  • — Processing tech: bakery processing machinery, blenders and mixers, capsule cleaning and polishing, cereal processing equipment, powder handling systems
  • — Pharma tech: air compressors, aseptic pumps, container accumulation, conveying systems, cosmetics packaging
  • — Drink tech: automation and control systems, automated filtration, beer blending and carbonisation devices, loaders and unloaders for retort crates
  • — Materials: aluminium foil packaging, biopack materials, frozen-food packaging, polyurethane adhesives, PP and PET strapping
  • — Cold chain, logistics and warehousing: automated storage, bulk packaging and transport, cleanrooms, cold chain management, food cooling and storage systems
  • — Coding, marking and labelling: sleeve labelling machines, card printers, coding, dating, marking and stamping equipment, self-adhesive labelling machinery
  • — Printech: converting machinery, printing chemicals and materials, traceability and automatic identification, package and decoration printing equipment
  • — Lab and tests: balances and weighing, dissolution testers, electrofusion systems, air, gas and stack monitoring equipment, food testing solutions
  • — Automation: automated filling and packaging lines, material-handling robotics, machine vision and AI quality inspection, factory digitalisation, smart and sustainable packaging

The visitor profile the organiser is aiming at: manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers and retailers, importers and exporters, printers, transport, logistics and warehousing firms, service and consultancy companies, plus government agencies, trade associations and academia. The industries covered run from packaging, food, beverages and confectionery to pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and personal care, non-food consumer goods, industrial goods and printing. In a single visit you can compare suppliers directly, put technical questions to application engineers instead of waiting on a quotation email, and leave with a shortlist rather than a folder of catalogues.

The show is run by Informa Markets together with SES Vietnam Exhibition Services Company Limited, with Ipack-Ima as strategic partner. The official artwork states that the event is powered by renewable electricity.

The organiser is candid about why the north: FDI into Vietnam rose 35% in the first quarter of 2025, and northern provinces such as Bắc Giang have become strategic industrial hubs, pulling demand for processing and packaging technology with them. Those numbers come from the organiser's own pitch to exhibitors.

The venue is the new Vietnam Exposition Center out in Đông Anh, on the far side of the Red River from the Old Quarter, so build the ride there and back into your day. Its operator bills it as the largest exhibition complex in Southeast Asia; ProPak Hanoi occupies Hall 1, which is worth knowing before you start walking the site.

This is a trade fair: visitor registration is open online and free of charge, and the form asks for your company and line of business. Alongside the stands the organiser lists technical seminars and live technology demos. The event website and the registration portal both run in Vietnamese and English.

Visitor enquiries go to Ms Amy Vuong (Minh Thy), extension 167, [email protected].

Until now, seeing a ProPak show floor meant flying south. This time it comes to you — and if you work anywhere in this supply chain, it is worth the trip across the river.
