Business EventsClose to four hundred stands stand side by side, and behind most of them sits real hardware: storage batteries, charging stations, drones, semiconductor lines. This international trade exhibition is a rare chance to look at the green transition as machinery rather than as a slogan, and getting in costs nothing.
The event is directed by the Hanoi People's Committee and hosted by the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, with the Hanoi Centre for Industry Promotion and Trade Development running it on the ground. In other words this is the city government's own project, not a single commercial organiser's fair.
The organisers put the scale at 350 to 400 stands, of which roughly 200 are international, coming from South Korea, China, India, Japan, France and elsewhere. The show floor is divided into four networks:
Two more sections sit alongside the exhibits, both aimed at people who work in the field. The B2B matchmaking area runs one-to-one negotiations, commercial contract signings and technology transfer between Vietnamese companies and foreign partners. A specialised international seminar discusses applied technology for the green transition, with professional associations and experts from the G20 bloc taking part.
The audience the organisers describe is wider than the business crowd: students of engineering, environmental science and economics looking at green career paths; young founders hunting for partners and investors; and people simply curious about electric cars, smart devices, semiconductor chips or UAVs.
The exhibition grounds lie out in Đông Anh, beyond Hanoi's inner ring, so allow extra travel time if you are coming by your own vehicle or a ride-hailing car. It is a new complex with a lot of floor space, which also means a lot of walking across a single day.
Three days is roughly the right length to cover all four networks without rushing. Anyone who needs to meet specific people should check the sector list in advance and book a B2B slot; anyone who just wants to look can follow the exhibition route.
