Live music at hòa-bình bistro

   Dinner by the Han River (sông Hàn) in Da Nang comes with a live instrument here every night: saxophone one evening, violin the next, sometimes guitar. If you want a relaxed evening with a river view and real music instead of a background playlist, this bistro on Trần Hưng Đạo is one such address.

   This is dinner music rather than a concert: a soloist, occasionally a small group, plays for about two hours each night. Every evening has its own mood name and its own performer. The music runs seven nights a week.

   The line-up changes from week to week: on 1–4 October, billed as «Weekend Live», the bistro hosted saxophonists Ngoc (Ngọc) and Ngo Thang (Ngô Thắng), with guitar and saxophone from Chanh Tin (Chánh Tín) and his team on the Friday.

   It works for couples, for dinner with friends or family, and for anyone who wants to end a Da Nang day with gentle live music by the river.

   hòa-bình bistro sits in An Hai ward (An Hải) on the Han River and is open daily from 10:00 to 23:00, so you can come earlier for dinner before the music starts. In the bistro's own words, it is a place where one evening brings «good food, a beautiful view and good music».
