Trail race «Sơn Trà City Trail 2026»

   A city trail run inside Da Nang itself, on the green peninsula where the city drops into the sea. This is a rare kind of course: a few kilometres in and you are off the streets and onto hill terrain, with the city still spread out below you.

   Four distances, with age limits set by year of birth:

• — 5 km, from 8 years old
• — 10 km, from 14 years old
• — 21 km, from 18 years old
• — 42 km, from 18 years old

   The race is organised by the People's Committee of Sơn Trà ward together with Belove Mountain, which means it is tied to the local authority rather than simply renting the ground. With a full marathon on trail terrain it is also one of the heavier options Da Nang runners have without leaving their own city.

   Entry is in the Super Early Bird window until 10 October: 466,000 ₫ for 5 km, 566,000 ₫ for 10 km, 688,000 ₫ for 21 km and 888,000 ₫ for the marathon. The Early Bird and Late tiers that follow push the longest distance to 1,388,000 ₫.

   The change policy is strict, so read it before paying. A transfer or a step up in distance costs 200,000 ₫ per request, and the deadline for any change of details is 23:59 on 30 November. Entries cannot be rolled over to the next season, with two exceptions, pregnancy or an accident confirmed by a licensed medical facility; in those cases the place can be passed to another runner free of charge, at least 30 days before race day. The detailed schedule and race pack collection details are still being finalised.

   For runners based in Da Nang there is hardly a more convenient way to try trail terrain without travelling for it.
