Race «Nghệ An Legacy Marathon» (Return to the land of blue mountains and waters)

   Cool December air, wide flat coastal roads and a course the organizers describe with unusual directness: «your new PR lives here». The seaside town of Cua Lo in Nghe An province — the home region of President Ho Chi Minh — hosts a race built squarely for personal bests, wrapped in the scenery an old folk song calls «blue mountains and green waters like a painted picture».

   The Nghe An Legacy Marathon is organized by Zaha Vietnam, the company behind the Legacy Marathon series. Everything — opening ceremony, start and finish — happens at Binh Minh Square right on the Cua Lo beachfront, about 300 km south of Hanoi near Vinh.

   Schedule and distances:

   — Saturday 5 December — racekit pickup
— Sunday 6 December — race day: 42km starts 04:00 (6.5h cutoff), 21km — 05:30 (3.5h), 10km — 07:00 (2.5h), 5km — 08:00 (1.5h)

   It suits PR hunters and anyone after a quiet winter beach weekend: finish your race, then spend the afternoon on Cua Lo seafood and a side trip to the Kim Lien village where Ho Chi Minh was born.

   Entry from 137,000 VND; registration on ActiUp runs until 26.11.2026. Dropping to a shorter distance is free; other changes carry set fees.
