Photography camp «Hội Trại Nhiếp Ảnh Canon»

   A whole weekend day with a camera in your hands, sets that change every hour and a working photographer next to you to ask at any moment — that is the fastest way to understand why the same face under the same light gives completely different frames. Canon has built one such day for the photography community of Ho Chi Minh City, and built it inside a real shooting stage rather than a classroom.

   The day is led by photographer Võ Minh Cường. The morning belongs to meeting and talking: practical experience, craft knowledge, connection activities and mini games among people who share the same passion. The afternoon moves entirely to shooting. Lighting brand NANLITE and memory card maker Lexar join the programme as partners.

   The afternoon practice is built around:

• — Three genres: portrait, couple and family
• — The creative spaces of the studio: Phòng Vô Cực, Sân Vườn, Full House and Cầm Kỳ Thi Họa
• — The whole path of one frame: reading the light, choosing the angle, working with the model and handling the set

   The camp is open to beginners in photography, to photographers who want more hands-on hours, to Canon owners who want to try gear and meet the community, and to anyone looking for a weekend day that leaves something on the memory card.

   Tinh Khôi Studio has worked as a shooting stage in the city for more than seven years, and its rooms and areas are normally rented by the hour, crew by crew. For a day of practice that means the scenery keeps changing while you stay at one address.
