Exhibition «Metashow» (technology and light art)

   The 4th floor of Thiso Mall Sala turns into a run of light-projection rooms where familiar Van Gogh scenes — wheat fields, almond blossoms, a sky full of stars — are rebuilt in light across the walls and floor, large enough to step inside rather than just look at.

   Metashow calls it a technology art exhibition, split into zones built around light, visual art and technology. The most-promoted part is a mixed-reality (MR) headset zone that the organisers describe as the first of its kind in Vietnam — visitors put on a headset and watch paintings turn into three-dimensional space around them.

   It suits anyone who enjoys photographing themselves inside art installations, families with young kids who want art without reading wall text, and anyone curious to try MR technology that's still fairly new in Vietnam.

   The exhibition is open daily, 10:00–22:00 (last check-in 21:15; from 09:30 at weekends), with no timed slots. Dated tickets on Ticketbox are currently on sale through 30 November; no closing date has been announced.

   If Van Gogh on a museum wall has always felt distant, this is a chance to step inside the painting instead, in a shopping mall you already know.
