Concert «Rock Symphony: We Are The Champions»
About the event
A hundred symphony musicians and a choir take the stage not for Mozart but for Queen, The Beatles, Scorpions, Linkin Park, Oasis, My Chemical Romance and Green Day. «Rock Symphony: We Are The Champions» is the sixth concert in the CAM Philharmonic series, 27 September in Hanoi.
CAM Philharmonic arranges the rock classics for full orchestra and choir, joined on stage by three guest vocalists. The format is a proven one: the series' fifth instalment, "8 Seconds - Cinematic World", has already played and is on our listings - this sixth show follows the same idea with a different set list.
The evening is built for anyone who grew up on 90s and 2000s rock and wants to hear those anthems in symphonic form, not only regular concert-hall audiences. The stage is the Trung tâm Hội nghị Quốc gia (National Convention Center), usually booked for events of a very different scale and profile.
If an electric guitar and an orchestra's string section are equally close to your heart, this is a rare chance to hear them share a stage.
