Concert «Ngược Lối Yêu» (Against the Path of Love)

   Two singers whose songs have run up millions of plays across Vietnamese social media share one stage in Hanoi — and this is the case where melodies you know from short clips arrive in full and live, with an actual band instead of a phone speaker.

   The title «Ngược Lối Yêu» turns on a piece of wordplay: «ngược lối» is to go against the path, to cut across it, and «yêu» is to love. The organisers promise a programme working in two registers at once, from drawn-out and aching to open and loud.
