Concert «Lời Chưa Kịp Nói» (Words We Never Got to Say)

About the event

Some songs you only play alone on the way home, and forward to nobody. Three musicians behind that kind of song are taking one Hanoi stage together — live, with a band and backing vocals instead of a studio take. A “Love Wall” goes up for guests to add their own unsaid line.

   The essentials
Line-up: Hoang Ton (Hoàng Tôn), 14 Casper and Bon Nghiem (Bon Nghiêm)
Tuấn Nghĩa Band plays live, backing vocals by Sky Melody
A “Love Wall” where the audience writes down what went unsaid
The Sky tier adds a soundcheck and a “card bo góc”, and a drink comes with every tier

The night is called “Lời Chưa Kịp Nói” — “the words we never got to say”. The organisers describe it as things confided line by line: regret, memory, the sadness of letting someone go, and a restless search for calm.

Hoang Ton (Hoàng Tôn), born in Hanoi in 1988, was runner-up on season two of “Giọng hát Việt”, the Vietnamese Voice. “Em không quay về”, cut with rapper Yanbi, took two Zing Music Awards, and as a writer he twice made Làn Sóng Xanh's top ten songwriters, with credits for Ho Ngoc Ha (Hồ Ngọc Hà), Dong Nhi (Đông Nhi) and Bao Anh (Bảo Anh). In 2026 he is competing on “Anh trai vượt ngàn chông gai” and captains one of the winning houses.

14 Casper is Nguyen Manh Cuong (Nguyễn Mạnh Cường), an indie writer-producer who took a business degree at Foreign Trade University and went into music anyway. His “bao tiền một mớ bình yên?” topped Spotify's Viral 50 and passed 50 million YouTube views in two years; “Về nghe mẹ ru”, part of People's Artist Bach Tuyet's (Bạch Tuyết) project to renew the cải lương opera tradition alongside Hua Kim Tuyen (Hứa Kim Tuyền) and Hoang Dung (Hoàng Dũng), won both Làn Sóng Xanh and the TikTok Awards in 2022. Listeners call him the healing songwriter.

The voice on those records is Bon Nghiem (Bon Nghiêm): 14 Casper writes and produces, Bon Nghiem sings. They have worked as a pair since “có ai ở đây không?” in 2020 and share the album “Số Không”, nine songs written by the two of them; their single “một đời” spread through short TikTok videos in 2024, two years after release. In summer 2026 14 Casper left “Anh trai vượt ngàn chông gai” after the first showcase round, which took a lot of the show's viewers aback — and now he shares a stage with Hoang Ton.

This is for you if these songs already sit in your playlist and you want the live version — band, backing vocals, and the pauses a studio file smooths away. If you follow “Anh trai vượt ngàn chông gai”, two of its cast work the same programme here.

Bring along the thing you still have not said.
