MusicalNine years have gone by since the group last took a world tour on the road together, and Hanoi is the only Southeast Asian city on this anniversary run to be given two nights back to back. If you grew up on "Haru Haru" and "FANTASTIC BABY", this is the closest those songs have ever come to Vietnam.
BIGBANG 2026–2027 World Tour XX : COSMOS marks twenty years since the group debuted in 2006 and is its first world tour as a unit in nine years. The performing line-up is G-DRAGON, TAEYANG and DAESUNG, and the route runs to 33 stadium shows across Goyang, Oakland, East Rutherford, Paris, London, Taipei, Singapore, Hanoi, Sydney, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Osaka, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and more. Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta each get a single date; Hanoi is the only stop in the region playing twice.
Demand is not theoretical here: the three opening nights at Goyang Stadium outside Seoul sold out in 22 minutes.
You do not have to be a card-carrying V.I.P — the group's name for its fans — for this to be worth the trip. A K-pop production built at stadium scale is something audiences in Vietnam normally fly to Seoul or Bangkok to see, and the promoters expect fans to travel in from other provinces and neighbouring countries, so flights and rooms are worth locking in early.
Sân vận động Quốc gia Mỹ Đình holds 40,192 seats, opened in September 2003 for the Southeast Asian Games and is still the largest arena in the capital; it sits in the Từ Liêm area, west of the city centre. The stage is built around a runway pushing into the middle of the pitch, with multi-angle LED screens and speaker clusters placed around the bowl so every tier can follow the show.
The two nights are promoted by AEG Presents Asia, Carpa and VPBank together with YG Entertainment, with VPBank as title sponsor and Mastercard as co-sponsor.
The seat map is split into ten tiers:
All three VIP packages — Ultimate, Diamond and Gold — include a limited-edition BIGBANG photocard set of four designs, priority check-in at the VIP area, a limited World Tour merchandise kit and a hard card with lanyard; Ultimate and Diamond add a priority merchandise queue. The organisers state plainly that no VIP package includes a meet and greet or photos with the members. Only two zones are standing, Ultimate VIP at the stage and Standing Zone at the back of the floor, while CAT 5 Restricted View is currently the lowest entry price of any stop on this tour.
Tickets are sold exclusively through Cticket.vn in three waves: 13 August for BIGBANG V.I.P Membership holders who completed the verification survey on the b.stage platform by 7 August, 14 August for VPBank Mastercard cardholders, and general sale from 10:00 on 17 August.
One warning worth taking seriously: Vietnamese media have already spotted copycat sites imitating the Cticket interface, offering "tickets" before sales open and skipping the account login. There is no second official seller.
Twenty years as a group, nine years of waiting and two nights at Mỹ Đình — if seeing BIGBANG live has been sitting on your list, it has never been this close.
