ACA Summer Series — summer theatre program

   A whole summer to try living inside a character, build a scene with a director, or step onto a rehearsal floor in front of an audience for the first time. ACA's summer series is open to both working performers and complete beginners, with hands-on labs led by experienced actors and directors.

   What's new this season are two labs led by Antoine Reffé, ACA's new teacher, plus the chance to join the "6-Week Theatre Company" and perform in a show by director Quentin Delorme. In between sits a play you can watch, then see the actors rehearse and glimpse what happens in the wings.

   About the play "Mặt Nạ Rơi Xuống" (The Falling Mask)

   In a house cut off from the world during a zombie epidemic, no one can tell anyone's true face any more. The actors perform with hand-made half-masks, letting each mask lead and impose its own character rather than controlling it. Cast: Đỗ Hoàng Nam, Tuấn Anh Đinh, Trà Phan, Đức Phước, Nguyễn Duy Ngọc Ánh.

   It fits actors, directors, singers and performers, as well as art lovers trying themselves out for the first time. Each session is booked separately, and the early-bird rates close on their own dates.
