   The fourth edition refuses to reuse last year's route. Everything has been rebuilt around a new structure — a journey over eight mountains — with the climbing, the gradients and the checkpoints recalculated, so previous finishers are starting from scratch too.

   Five distances, with the climb spelled out: 6 km, 12 km, 30 km (+600 m), 50 km (+1,600 m) and 70 km (+2,500 m). The trails cross old tea hills, avenues of century-old pines, the Chu Dang Ya volcano and fields of wild sunflowers — late October is exactly when those fields turn yellow.

   Three days, each with its own job. Day one is the expo, race-pack collection for the 70, 50 and 30 km and a course-safety briefing. Day two sends the long distances out in darkness: 70 km at 03:00, 50 km at 04:00, 30 km at 05:30, with the 70 km course closing at 22:00. Day three belongs to the 12 km at 05:30 and the 6 km at 06:00, wrapping up by 09:30.

   Organisers expect 10,000 runners, and the race comes bundled with a Central Highlands culture festival: gong performances, a wild sunflower festival, street food and craft villages. Whoever came to watch will not be stuck at the finish arch all day.

   Regular-wave entry (16 July – 15 September): 6 km 548,000 VND, 12 km 748,000, 30 km 1,368,000, 50 km 2,068,000, 70 km 2,568,000. The Late wave (16 September – 7 October) adds 100,000–300,000 per distance.
