Trail race «Ultra Trail Cao Bang 2026»

   Run through old-growth forest in full autumn colour and finish beside one of Southeast Asia's most spectacular waterfalls. In late November, when the northeastern forests turn gold, the border province of Cao Bang offers what may be Vietnam's most scenic ultra course.

   Ultra Trail Cao Bang enters its 5th season, organized by Race Jungle together with the Cao Bang provincial authorities, with the race hub at Ban Gioc Waterfall — the famous cascade on the Vietnam–China border, about 280 km north of Hanoi.

   Six distances over three days:

   — 160km (100 miles) — starts Friday 27.11 at 16:00, 51-hour cutoff
— 100km — Saturday 28.11 at 16:00, 26-hour cutoff
— 70km — Sunday 29.11 at 03:00, 22-hour cutoff
— 42km — Sunday at 05:00, 13-hour cutoff
— 25km — Sunday at 09:00, 11-hour cutoff
— 10km — Sunday at 10:00, 10-hour cutoff

   Entry fees run from 1,232,000 VND (10km) to 5,984,000 VND (160km). The short distances suit trail newcomers who mainly want the scenery; the ultra distances are a serious test of endurance and night navigation in karst mountain country.

   Few races let you fold a trip to Ban Gioc, limestone peaks and Tay villages into one start number. Pick your distance and see you on the start line.
