Running race «Bắc Ninh Legacy Marathon 2027 – Dấu chân miền Quan họ»

   This edition has moved to the first days of January, the moment when winter loosens its grip and the Kinh Bắc countryside turns over into a new season. Mild cold, early spring sun and the festival mood of the Quan họ heartland make for a setting quite unlike a summer race.

   The course is the main argument for this one: flat, with no bridges and no climbs, wide and open. The organisers picked the route so runners can hold an even pace the whole way, and for anyone chasing a personal best that matters more than scenery.

   Four distances, with age limits:

• — 5 km, over 5 years old
• — 10 km, over 12 years old
• — 21 km, over 16 years old
• — 42 km, over 16 years old

   The race falls on a local milestone: Bắc Ninh has become a centrally governed city, and that sense of a place stepping up is woven into the event's message. The organiser is DHA Viet Nam, a media and events company founded in 2007 that has made regional and international marathons its main line of work.

   Entry is in the Early Bird window until 11 November: 400,000 ₫ for the 5 km and 10 km, 500,000 ₫ for the half and the full marathon. The Regular and Late tiers that follow take the marathon up to 800,000 ₫. Changing your personal details or dropping to a shorter distance is free, moving up means paying only the difference, transferring a place costs 199,000 ₫, and all changes must be done by 31 December. The detailed schedule is still being finalised.

   A new year that begins with your first strides, and in Bắc Ninh those strides run through villages and festival country.
