Industrial fair «VIMF x VIAF 2026 Bắc Ninh»

   Robot arms, CNC machines, welding cells and automated storage systems take over the halls in Bắc Ninh for three days — the province where Samsung, Canon and Foxconn run their plants. The industrial show comes back here for the seventh time, admission is free for trade visitors, and three days is enough to put your hands on the equipment you would otherwise pick from a catalogue.

   Three exhibitions run side by side under one roof: VIMF for machinery, equipment and technology for manufacturing and supporting industries; VIAF for industrial automation, electrical systems, industrial software and microsystems; 3DF for 3D printing, scanning and additive manufacturing. The organisers project 700+ exhibiting companies, 900+ booths and 25,000 trade and professional visitors from 25 countries and territories.

   What the show floor covers:

• — machine tools and metalworking, cutting tools, welding and coating;
• — test and measurement, moulds and dies, heat and surface treatment;
• — factory and process automation, smart sensors, drives and robotics;
• — in-plant logistics, material handling and storage systems;
• — 3D printers and scanners, laser machines for prototyping and tooling.

   This is a trade event rather than a public fair: free admission applies to business and trade visitors only, and the organisers ask for business or work attire. It pays off most for engineers and production managers, procurement teams, owners of small plants and equipment distributors — anyone who would rather talk to a supplier's engineer than to a sales line.

   Beyond the exhibition there is a Business Matching programme, technical seminars and networking sessions, with buyers and suppliers paired up in advance from the requests they submit. The organisers also list an attendance certificate among the reasons to come, which is a practical thing to have on a CV.

   The venue is Trung tâm Văn hóa Kinh Bắc (Kinh Bac Cultural Center). The address is no accident: according to the organisers the province holds 16 government-approved industrial parks, has drawn investors from more than 16 countries and territories, and sits in the Northern Key Economic Zone alongside Hà Nội, Hải Phòng, Hải Dương and Quảng Ninh.
