Live night «Anh Thanh Niên» (The Young Man): SWAN, HuyR, LIGHT at Phong tra Ben Thanh

   A song that owned an entire Vietnamese New Year is coming back to a room where the audience sits a few metres from the singer. Three young voices, a live band, and a hall small enough that the quiet passages still land.

   The night is named after «Anh thanh niên» («The Young Man»), which HuyR released in early 2020. It topped YouTube's trending chart across the Tet holiday, finished the year as the number one music video in YouTube Vietnam's annual top ten, and held a record 26 consecutive weeks on the Lan Song Xanh chart.

   Who is on the bill:

• — HuyR, born Vu Van Huy (Vũ Văn Huy), singer-songwriter, and the youngest contestant in the first season of the TV competition «Anh trai vuot ngan chong gai»
• — SWAN, who came out of the survival show «Tan binh toan nang» and now works independently; his MV «Có lẽ» came out in March 2026
• — LIGHT

   Phong tra — a Vietnamese music lounge, seated, table service, no dance floor — is a format worth trying once if you have only seen Vietnamese pop in arenas. This one occupies the third floor of the Ben Thanh Theatre on Mac Dinh Chi, five minutes from the Saigon Opera House. Seating zones are named after the city's markets: Super Star closest to the stage, then Ben Thanh, Tan Dinh, An Dong and Binh Tay stepping back, each with its own surcharge — the front costs six times what the back row does.

   Two practical points: the lounge serves its own food and drinks and does not allow outside ones, and you check in with the exact name and phone number you entered when booking.
