Fancon «Vương Anh Tú: Tinh Tú»

   The ballads that soundtrack every Vietnamese breakup and reunion were mostly written by one man who usually stays behind the scenes. Now composer and singer Vương Anh Tú steps onto a stage of his own in Ho Chi Minh City and invites the listeners who have followed him for more than a decade.

   His turning point came in 2013 with Giúp Anh Trả Lời Những Câu Hỏi, followed by Anh Cứ Đi Đi, Có Tất Cả Nhưng Thiếu Anh, Hết Thương Cạn Nhớ, Tình Nào Không Như Tình Đầu and Gặp Nhưng Không Ở Lại. In 2026 the reality show Anh Trai Vượt Ngàn Chông Gai showed a different side of him: he sang, performed and premiered a new song, Nếu Có Thế Giới Song Song, in the solo round. He left after the first showcase, but the new audience he gained there is exactly why the first fancon of his career now exists.

   The artist describes the evening as a reunion under a sky of stars, where every person in the hall is a star that helps make that sky shine. The guest list is being kept secret, and his fandom, Jet Jet, is waiting to see which of his fellow contestants will turn up.

   The hall is split over two levels, and the ticket categories are named after things from his own world rather than plain letters: Jetjet is what his fans call themselves, and Cá Bơi Ngược Dòng is one of his songs. What separates the categories is more than the view of the stage:

• — Peony — soundcheck for every holder, plus a draw for 50 fansign places and one-on-one photos;
• — Jetjet — a draw for 100 soundcheck places, 20 fansign places and 70 group photo spots;
• — Song Song — a draw for 50 soundcheck places and 80 group photo spots;
• — 0,8% — a draw for 20 group photo spots;
• — Cá Bơi Ngược Dòng — the fan, the pass and the photocards that every category receives.

   A twilly scarf goes to the three top categories, while the fan, the pass and the photocards come with any ticket. Winners of the special perks are drawn automatically among everyone who buys on 1Zone through 13 September, and the lists are due on 15 September on the official channels of Vương Anh Tú and River Flows In You. Limited merchandise was released in late August: 89 units per item and only 50 of the full boxes.

   The night suits both long-time Jet Jet members and anyone who discovered him on television: a fancon is conversation and live singing at close range rather than a large-scale concert. The organisers announced a 19:00 start, while the ticket platform lists 15:00 for the event, so if you hold a category with soundcheck or fansign, check the arrival time with the seller before you travel.

   After years of writing songs for other voices, Vương Anh Tú finally gets a night of his own, and that alone earns the date a place in your September plans.
