Fan con «T-ARA: Moonlight Party»

   One of the girl groups that defined the second wave of k-pop is not bringing a stadium concert this time but a fan con: a closer stage, more talking and a whole evening built around meeting the audience. T-ARA meet Vietnamese fans in an exhibition hall in Saigon, under the name «Moonlight Party».

   The official poster puts four members in American-west styling, wide-brimmed hats and earth-toned leather, which matches the title. This is the group Vietnamese listeners remember through «Bo Peep Bo Peep», «Roly-Poly» and «Lovey-Dovey», songs that once ran across Asian charts.

   The short of it:

   — fan benefits come attached to the ticket and differ by tier, and recipients are picked by a random draw;
— the list of winners is published on 24 September, drawn from orders completed before 23:59 on 22 September;
— a valid e-ticket and wristband are required to take part in the benefit session;
— the seating map is illustrative only, and the organiser may adjust the layout.

   The promoter is Star Future International, which describes itself as a company for large-scale concerts, fan meetings and musicals, listing an 8TURN fan meeting in Shanghai, a G-Dragon fan meeting in Japan and Jisoo fan meetings in Hong Kong and Macau.

   A few rules worth knowing before you buy: one ticket admits one person, children under 7 are not allowed in, visitors under 16 need a guardian aged 18 or over and everyone needs their own ticket in the same tier; there is no cloakroom at the venue; tickets are neither refundable nor exchangeable.

   The venue is an exhibition complex, so the hall is a flat floor divided into blocks rather than a theatre with raked tiers: the top tiers sit directly in front of the stage and the remaining blocks step back towards the technical desk. The official poster also flags one thing worth knowing: tickets for the event are sold in Vietnam only through the official ticketing platform, which puts any resale outside the organiser's responsibility.
