Concert «Tự dưng thành người lạ» (Suddenly Strangers) – Quoc Thien, Thu Hang

About the event

A small room, a stage a few steps from the front row, and a singer whose voice was built for exactly that distance. Vietnamese ballad singing is at its best up close, and this is the format that lets you hear it that way.

The night takes its name from «Tự dưng thành người lạ» («Suddenly We Became Strangers»), a ballad written by Dong Thien Duc (Đông Thiên Đức) that Quoc Thien released in late 2025 — and whose rights he bought outright for life, a rare move on the Vietnamese market. Singer Thu Hang (Thu Hằng) joins him as guest.

Quoc Thien (Quốc Thiên), born Tran Quoc Thien, came second at the Tieng ca hoc duong contest in 2007 and then won the second season of Vietnam Idol in 2008. He holds a Cong Hien award for Programme of the Year and has kept a loyal ballad audience for close to two decades.

Cat&Mouse Live Music runs across two levels — the main floor wrapped around the stage and a mezzanine above it — with sofa seating in the outer rows. Tickets are sold in three tiers:

  • — Standard — outer sections and the mezzanine
  • — VIP — the side and rear blocks of the main floor
  • — Super VIP — the arc directly in front of the stage and the central rows

The venue sits on Pham Ngoc Thach, a short ride north of the Notre Dame Cathedral area, so it is an easy add-on to an evening in the centre. Everything is seated and the room is small, which means the seating plan sells down rather than out — booking early is the practical move.

Seat map and booking are on the event page.

If you want to hear what Vietnamese pop sounds like without a stadium in the way, take the Sunday off and sit close.
