Concert «MOOD SHOW» at Phòng trà Bến Thành

   Five voices that usually meet only inside a playlist will share one small stage in central Ho Chi Minh City: two alumni of the boy band Uni5, a talent-show graduate, and a Hanoi indie pairing. The phòng trà format keeps its own character — table seating, low light, unforced sound, and a room where the back row sits metres from the microphone rather than half a stadium away.

   The line-up bridges two different corners of Vietnamese pop. Toki Thanh Tho (Toki Thành Thỏ) and K.O both grew out of Uni5 and returned to mainstream attention in 2026 through the music reality show «Anh Trai Vượt Ngàn Chông Gai», where their idol-trained mix of vocals and choreography drew immediate notice. Ho Dong Quan (Hồ Đông Quan), born in 1999, reached the top 11 of the 2025 talent show «Tân Binh Toàn Năng» and set out his own sound with the solo single «Rắc Rối» (Trouble). The Hanoi side of the evening belongs to 14 Casper (Nguyen Manh Cuong, Nguyễn Mạnh Cường), the writer-producer behind «Thu Hoài» and the album «Tại Sao 0?», and Bon Nghiem (Bon Nghiêm, real name Nghiêm Quang Duy) — a partnership Vietnamese listeners call «cặp bài trùng», the inseparable duo behind «Có ai ở đây không?» and the record «SỐ KHÔNG».

   You will get the most out of this if you have been following the 2026 season of «Anh Trai Vượt Ngàn Chông Gai» and want to see its cast in a few-hundred-seat room instead of an arena. The second audience is Vietnamese indie listeners: 14 Casper and Bon Nghiêm write and produce their own material, and songs like theirs gain from a small hall.

   Phòng trà is a Saigon live-music tradition descended from the tea houses of the 1960s: small tables, dimmed light and the acoustics of a compact room. This one occupies the Lầu 1 level of Nhà hát Bến Thành — not the theatre's main auditorium but a separate space above the entrance, which is worth knowing in a building that shares one address in the historic District 1 core, now administratively Phường Sài Gòn. The series is a returning fixture here rather than a one-off.

   Sections are named after songs, so the name tells you where you sit. The red «Hãy Khóc Trên Vai Anh» blocks are dead centre by the stage at 2,600,000 VND. Gold «Một Đời» covers the flanks of the front rows and the middle of the floor at 2,200,000 VND. Blue «Rắc Rối» sits further back on the floor and opens the upper level at 1,700,000 VND. Upstairs, «Xin Hãy Rời Xa» is 1,200,000 VND and the rear «Bình Yên» blocks are 800,000 VND. Sales opened on 27 July 2026 under strict rules: one order per account and no more than two tickets, with no refunds or exchanges.

   Check-in opens at 19:00 and closes when the show starts; latecomers are not taken through security. Children under 6 are not admitted, and under-12s must be accompanied by an adult throughout. Umbrellas, selfie sticks, laser pointers, professional tripods and pens are not allowed inside, smoking and vaping are banned, and live-streaming the full show is prohibited.

   Tickets are sold through Ticketbox only; the organiser does not support tickets bought through unofficial channels.
