Concert «Live Show Thu Minh»

   Thu Minh is one of those Vietnamese voices you recognise from the first note. Twenty-odd years on stage, a standing reputation as the most powerful vocal in V-pop, and a habit of building sets that leave almost no room for filler.

   This is a solo evening with a live band, built around the voice rather than the production. The special guest is Vũ Thảo My, winner of The Voice of Vietnam — two singers of very different temperament, and their duets are the main reason to come.

   The essentials:

   — Thu Minh sings both Vietnamese pop and English-language repertoire, and her concerts usually carry both;
   — the venue is an indoor ballroom, not an open-air stage: even sound, and weather is not a factor;
   — seating is numbered and the room is small by concert standards, so the stage is close from anywhere.

   Come if you want Vietnamese pop in its serious version rather than as lobby background. If you are only getting to know the Vietnamese scene, Thu Minh is the voice by which it is known abroad.

   On tickets: sold online through ticketbox, priced by sector, with the lowest tier starting at 1,130,000 VND. The programme is performed in Vietnamese; no translation has been announced, though a vocal evening hardly needs one.

   On getting there: Hồ Tràm is a stretch of resort coast roughly two hours from central Ho Chi Minh City, to which these lands were transferred in the 2025 reorganisation. This is not a city gig — people usually stay the night, and the concert fits naturally into a weekend by the sea.
