Business EventsVietnam sews for the world, yet most of the machines, dyes and trims behind those garments still arrive from abroad. Once a year the largest exhibition hall in Ho Chi Minh City becomes the place where that buying happens in person: machines running on the floor, fabric you can feel, engineers standing next to their equipment to answer technical questions.
VTG returns for its 24th edition, and in 2026 it puts four industry shows under one roof — machinery, fabrics and accessories, dyes and chemicals, footwear production. The running theme is “Dệt May 4.0”, textiles in the Industry 4.0 era: automation, software-driven production lines, sensor-based quality control and system integration instead of stand-alone machines.
The short version of what is on the floor:
It pays off first for the people who run production: factory owners, technologists, procurement managers for machinery and materials, automation engineers. The second group is buyers and brand owners sourcing a manufacturer in Vietnam — four days here cover more suppliers than half a year of sourcing trips. The venue sits in Phú Mỹ Hưng, the planned district south of the centre, on the main Nguyễn Văn Linh corridor.
Last year's 23rd edition set a visitor record: 17,577 trade buyers from nearly 50 countries and territories, and more than 400 exhibiting companies from ten countries and regions — Vietnam, China, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand.
Exhibitors explain that traffic in plain terms. “Printing and related manufacturing are shifting from China to Vietnam and other South Asian countries,” said Steven Shi, sales director at Zhejiang Jaiyin Digital Technology, at the previous edition. A visible share of recent launches is sustainability-driven: recycled label boxes and hangers, and bio-based materials such as Bio Coffee and Rice Resin, presented by Makoto Aoki of Van Nang Banok.
The show is organised by Vietnam's VINEXAD and Taiwan's Yorkers Trade & Marketing, with Chan Chao International as show management. Industry backing comes from VCOSA (cotton and spinning), AGTEK (Ho Chi Minh City garment makers), VAMI (mechanical industry), the recycling association VWRA and the city's automation association HauA.
Groups of 15 people or more — companies, factories, schools, industry associations — get a free shuttle to the venue, but the coaches are limited and go to whoever books first. On the final day the show closes earlier, at 15:00, so keep serious negotiations to the first three days. Entry is by a personal badge issued in advance.

Come with a shortlist of what your line is missing — this is the one week when the suppliers come to you.
