   An afternoon tea with live music, sung by the group a whole generation in Vietnam grew up with. You try new skincare, then sit and hear Da LAB at close range in a banquet hall rather than from thirty metres back at a festival stage.

   The day is run by LG Vina Cosmetics and brings together four of its brands: CNP Laboratory, belif, Dominas and Euthymol. What separates it from the usual mall pop-up is the consulting desk: specialists read your skin and advise for your individual case instead of reciting one product pitch to every visitor who walks past.

   On the programme:

• — interactive activities and shopping benefits available only during the day
• — an afternoon tea space and a live music set with Da LAB

   Good for young people teaching themselves skincare, for working make-up artists, and for a group of friends who want a low-key afternoon with music in it. The afternoon tea is open to everyone who comes, with no separate seating to buy.

   Entry is walk-in and nothing has to be bought in advance. The limited doorgift, though, goes only to guests holding a confirmation email from the online form, so fill that in before you travel if the gift matters to you. The programme runs in the TOPAZ hall inside the building, not across the whole convention centre.

   The four brands on show do not overlap: CNP Laboratory and belif sit in skincare, Dominas in personal care, and Euthymol is an oral care line. That means you can work through every booth without hearing the same story four times, and ask each product group its own questions.

   If you are still teaching yourself skincare, the real value of a day like this is not the sample table but the few minutes when someone looks at your skin and tells you what they see. Come with one or two specific questions about your own case and the consultation will be worth far more than drifting past the stands.
