Club night «Ca Đêm – Savage Takeover» at Factory 47

Hanoi club Savage takes over the decks at Factory 47 in the Old Quarter for one night: five Savage DJs, led by Ouissam, play the latest edition of the Ca Đêm series, Vietnamese for «night shift».

Ca Đêm is Factory 47's guest series: in August it was headlined by Japanese DJ Takamichi, from Sapporo and now based in Bangkok, and in September by UK-born Brent Burns, co-founder of Bangkok's Transport. This time the whole night goes to another club.

At a glance: who is on the decks

   — Ouissam: a French DJ with a decade in Asia, founder of Hong Kong's Cliché Records and the Homesick and Fragrant Harbour labels and curator of Equation festival; according to his Resident Advisor biography, he established Savage and runs its monthly queer night Snug
— Di Linh: resident at Savage, The Observatory and Equation, formerly a resident at The Quarry at Wonderfruit
— TaoFu: resident at The Observatory and Savage, member of the ATIPIK Collective
— Zwi: a Vietnamese DJ raised in Moscow, Savage resident and founder of the METRØ event series
— CONG: Savage resident and one half of the DJ duo Coyang

House and techno come up most often in the five biographies, alongside disco and electro; CONG is known for hypnotic, progressive and psychedelic sets.

The night is for those who know Savage and want to hear its residents in the middle of the Old Quarter, and for anyone after a serious house and techno night after a round of bars.

If you have been meaning to get to Savage and never made it, this time Savage brings its residents to the Old Quarter.
