Toyota Concert 2026

   An all-Russian-Romantic evening in Hà Nội: Tchaikovsky's most famous piano concerto paired with Rachmaninoff's Second Symphony, performed by the country's national orchestra. If you want to hear a virtuoso soloist and a full string section at the same level in one sitting, this programme gives you both.

   The evening brings together two cornerstones of the Russian-Romantic repertoire:

• Tchaikovsky – Piano Concerto No. 1
• Rachmaninoff – Symphony No. 2
• Performed by the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra (VNSO)
• Conducted by Honna Tetsuji, VNSO Music Director
• Piano soloist: Lưu Đức Anh

   It suits classical-music lovers, newcomers taking their first step into orchestral music, and expats or tourists after a top-tier cultural night in the city — the hall sits a few hundred metres from Hoàn Kiếm Lake.

   Soloist Lưu Đức Anh has taken prizes at international competitions in Poland, Belgium, Sweden, France and Australia, and has been a Bösendorfer Artist since 2025. Honna Tetsuji leads the orchestra as its Music Director.

   The Toyota Concert is one of Vietnam's longest-running annual classical series, staged continuously since 1998 by Toyota Motor Vietnam together with the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra to widen access to classical music.
