   KCD × OpenInfra Days 2026: Where Open Infrastructure Meets Cloud-Native Innovation in Vietnam

   KCD & OpenInfra Days Vietnam 2026 is a major technology event marking the first time Kubernetes Community Day (KCD) — the official community event of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) — is held in Vietnam, combined with the open-source cloud festival OpenInfra. Under the theme «Where Open Infrastructure Meets Cloud-Native Innovation», it is the point where open infrastructure and cloud-native creativity converge.

   Its headline strength is the concentration of today's most advanced technology areas: Cloud & Infrastructure, Cloud Native, CI/CD & Automation and AI Infrastructure. Organisers expect more than 700 professionals and experts from the software and infrastructure industry in Vietnam and abroad — a rare chance to track the latest trends, expand a high-quality partner network and learn directly from global specialists.

   Who it's for: DevOps and platform engineers, system administrators, infrastructure architects, developers and technology managers. Based on last year's figures, the audience skewed strongly technical — about 61.06% engineers, 26.59% managers and 12.35% C-level — so the programme is built to go straight into hands-on expertise rather than generic theory.

   The programme opens in the morning with a lean opening ceremony and focused keynotes, after which deep-dive breakout rooms start in parallel before noon. The afternoon runs a continuous series of more than 40 technical sessions across parallel tracks, centred on core technologies: Kubernetes, Cloud Native, AI Infrastructure, OpenStack, Ceph, Ansible, GitLab CI, Prometheus and more. The line-up features four senior guests from the OpenInfra Foundation and CNCF appearing in person, while the remaining speakers were selected through a rigorous CFP process on Sessionize.

   Beyond the talks, the event includes an exhibition area with sponsor booths (Diamond, Gold, Silver, Bronze), expert-led hands-on workshops, a check-in and media zone, and a dedicated networking space designed to maximise business-to-business connections.    The event lands as Vietnam's digital infrastructure accelerates. The country's cloud computing market was estimated at around $3.97 billion in 2025 and is projected to grow at roughly 10.9% CAGR in the coming years. More broadly, Vietnam's digital economy reached about $72 billion in 2025, close to 14% of GDP, backed by an IT talent pool of roughly 530,000–560,000 engineers. Demand for Kubernetes, cloud-native and AI-infrastructure skills is rising fast — and KCD × OpenInfra Days is where Vietnam's engineering community syncs with global standards.
