Business EventsBSides Hanoi 2026: No Human officially returns with a question that is hard to answer: what happens when the human element is gradually phased out of cybersecurity operations? We are entering an era where AI is no longer just a support tool but an independent operator – from vulnerability discovery and exploit execution to fully automated attack chains, the line between human intervention and machine autonomy is fading. That is exactly the boundary this conference invites the community to look at head-on.
BSides is a community-run, non-profit security conference series held in hundreds of cities worldwide, known for its open, non-corporate spirit and its focus on substantive technical content. The Hanoi edition centres on the theme No Human – Cybersecurity | Attack & Defense, with room for deep talks, research shares, hands-on sessions and peer-to-peer exchange. It is a space where practitioners decode an AI-driven security era and define the strategic moves needed to operate safely.
Why this matters for Vietnam
Vietnam's cybersecurity market was worth roughly USD 310 million in 2025 and is projected to grow around 14.5% per year, heading toward more than USD 700 million by 2031 (Mordor Intelligence). The momentum is fuelled by rapid digital transformation, data-protection and data-localization rules, and a growing public budget for national cyber-resilience.
The pressure is real: in 2025 the country's information systems faced about 552,000 cyberattacks (National Cybersecurity Association), and 52.3% of agencies and businesses reported suffering damage – up from 46.15% in 2024. In Q3 2025 alone, Vietnam logged more than 547,000 DDoS attacks and around 6.5 million stolen personal accounts, many of them AI-assisted (Viettel Cyber Security) – exactly the No Human picture the conference sets out to examine.
In that context, a community-led technical gathering like BSides helps local security teams keep pace with the latest attack and defence tactics, share incident-response experience, and build a trusted professional network.
Who it is for
Security researchers, pentesters, SOC engineers and analysts, CIO/CISO leaders, and information-security students who want to track Attack & Defense trends, learn from real-world cases and widen their network within the community.
