Finals «Hội thao quân sự, võ thuật và thể thao Công an nhân dân năm 2026» (People's Public Security military, martial arts and sports games)

   Da Nang hosts the national finals of Vietnam's police games: more than 4,700 competitors, 27 squads in military skills and martial arts and 81 sports teams. For visitors the draw is the opening ceremony, which is built as a show rather than a parade.

   Over 2,000 officers take part in it at Bien Dong Park — ceremonial drums, a military band, special-purpose motorcycles, mounted police, martial arts and qigong, a staged VIP rescue, marksmanship, fire-and-rescue routines, and fireworks to finish.

   The competition itself is broader than you might expect: shooting, obstacle course, martial arts, seven-a-side football, pickleball, applied running and swimming, swimming with weapons, and basketball.

   Every team here has already come through the regional rounds held in Quang Ninh, Hue and Lam Dong, where more than 5,800 athletes competed for a place in the finals.

   The games are run by the Ministry of Public Security and mark two anniversaries — 80 years of the People's Security force (1946–2026) and 81 years of the People's Public Security (1945–2026). The closing ceremony and awards fall on the last day.
