Concert «Thanh Âm Bà Nà» (Sounds of Bà Nà)

   On the green slopes at the foot of Bà Nà mountain, an open-air stage brings together close to twenty performers at once: the Bà Nà commune People's Committee, together with Trưng Vương Theatre Đà Nẵng, presents the art programme «Thanh Âm Bà Nà» (Sounds of Bà Nà) at An Sơn Farm — a fairly new music venue in the area.

   The evening brings together musician Lê Minh Sơn — a familiar name in Vietnamese music, known for folk-inflected contemporary songs and for coaching on televised singing competitions — alongside NSƯT Quang Hào (a state-titled Meritorious Artist) and a line-up of singers: Thanh Trà, Lia, Ngọc Nhung, Minh Nguyệt, Hoàng Long, Nhật Mai, NyNy Nguyễn, Huỳnh Thông, Nam Sơn, Ksor Sơn, Ánh Quyên, Kiều Oanh, Châu Kha, Diễm My and Văn Thắng. MC Nguyên Khang hosts, the Trưng Vương Band plays live, and the Trưng Vương Dance Troupe performs alongside.

   If you're staying around Bà Nà, or simply curious about a stage set in open grassland rather than a closed hall, this is a chance to hear close to twenty voices live in one evening.

   An Sơn Farm sits right at the foot of Bà Nà mountain, the same area known for the Bà Nà Hills resort and its famous Golden Bridge. But on the evening of 24 September the stage isn't by the cable car or the castle: the programme picks an open field instead, a different side of a very familiar area.

   The organisers invite the audience to An Sơn Farm on Thursday evening, 24 September, to join the chorus of the Bà Nà highlands.
