Festival «Son Tra Innovation Fest 2026»

   More than 30 technology stands fill a seafront hotel in Đà Nẵng, from AI tools to robots, and all of them are built for visitors to try rather than just look at. The organisers gave this year's SIF the line «Công nghệ toàn cầu hội ngộ phong cách sống địa phương» - global technology meeting local ways of living.

   The two days keep different hours: Saturday runs from 8 in the morning until 10 at night - the organisers' announcement gives a 7:45 start while the poster says 8:00 - and Sunday from 8 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon. Entry is free and no ticket is needed.

   Beyond the stands there are themed sessions and matchmaking:

• — A session on the Sơn Trà Innovation Zone, the innovation district the ward is putting together.
• — A session on digital transformation.
• — A session on AI and education.
• — Business networking.
• — A showcase of entries from two contests: «Ý tưởng công viên đổi mới sáng tạo Sơn Trà» (ideas for a Sơn Trà innovation park) and «Dựng phim hoạt hình bằng AI» (animation made with AI).

   The innovation-park contest was launched inside the festival itself, so what is on display are real proposals for a real site rather than decorative models.

   The festival is led by the Sơn Trà ward authority with the Đà Nẵng startup and innovation support centre and Đà Nẵng 365 as co-organisers, and VTV8 as media partner.

   It suits founders and tech companies looking for partners, teachers and parents thinking about AI in the classroom, and families who simply want an afternoon of robots. Since there is no entry fee, you can drop in for an hour and move on.

   On the first weekend of October Sơn Trà opens its workshop door to anyone who wants to walk in.
