Concert «Jimmii Nguyễn – Lê Hiếu» at Mây Lang Thang

   Love songs of the 1990s and a ballad voice of the following generation meet among the pines: Jimmii Nguyễn with his own band and Lê Hiếu share a mid-November Saturday at The Nest.    Jimmii Nguyễn (born Nguyễn Thanh Dũng Ngọc Long) is a Vietnamese-American songwriter, singer and producer whose name has belonged to the overseas scene since the early 1990s; «Hoa bằng lăng», «Bên em là biển rộng» and «Chuyện tình buồn» are songs several generations know by heart. Lê Hiếu (Lê Trung Hiếu) is a familiar ballad voice of domestic pop, most often mentioned for «Ngày mai em đi».

   The evening suits anyone who wants to hear the love songs of an era sung by their author, and younger listeners curious how the songs their parents played sound stripped down. Two voices from different generations on one small stage tend to produce unexpectedly quiet moments — the kind you remember longer than the loud ones.

   Before you go: The Nest sits at 519 Thôn Măng Lin in Lang Biang ward, about 12 km from the centre of Đà Lạt, so allow time for the trip. The organisers run a shuttle at 25,000 VND per person with a capped number of seats, picking up at Phở 16 in the Lang Biang sports complex — book it together with your ticket. Children under 1 m sit with a parent free of charge; from 1 m to 1.2 m they need their own seat at a 70% surcharge, 30% of which is refunded at check-in. Groups of 10 seats get 5% off, 20 seats 10%; prices include VAT.
