Running race «Cool Race 1.5°C – Dalat 2026»

   From Lam Vien Square by Xuan Huong Lake (Hồ Xuân Hương), the streets of the highland city's centre become a race course for a run with a green message: "Run for 1.5°C – Run for our future". With four distances from 1.5 km up to a half marathon, it is a chance to explore Da Lat on foot, whether you are just starting out or already comfortable with long runs.

   The International Run for a Greener Da Lat 2026 races under the brand Cool Race 1.5°C – Dalat 2026. The poster names the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee and DHI as organisers, VTV8 as media partner and Thanh An Media (Thành An Media) as the production company. The organisers describe the race as more than a competition: a meeting point for local residents, the running community and Vietnamese and Korean businesses, bringing together sport, the environment, tourism, community and Vietnam–Korea cultural exchange.

   Key facts:

• — four distances in the current plan: 1.5 km, 5 km, 10 km and 21 km;
• — slogans on the poster: "Run for 1.5°C – Run for our future", "Chạy vì 1.5°C – Vì một tương lai xanh" and "Cool change – One runner, one tree", plus a line in Korean;
• — the routes start from the square by Xuan Huong Lake and run through the city centre.

   The 1.5 km suits families with young children, the 5 km is for newer runners, and the 10 km and 21 km are a challenge for those with some mileage behind them. If you have been looking for a reason to spend a late-autumn weekend in Da Lat, a race through the middle of town is a good one.

   Entry fees rise in three phases. Super Early Bird (21 September – 15 October): 1.5 km — 200,000 VND, 5 km — 300,000 VND, 10 km — 375,000 VND, 21 km — 450,000 VND. Early Bird (16–30 October): 280,000, 420,000, 525,000 and 630,000 VND. Regular (31 October – 12 November): 320,000, 480,000, 600,000 and 720,000 VND. Group bundles are also on sale: 2 entries — 500,000/700,000/900,000 VND, 3 entries — 800,000/1,000,000/1,000,000 VND, 4 entries — 1,100,000/1,300,000/1,500,000 VND, depending on the phase. Registration closes on 12 November.

   Age limits: 1.5 km from age 6 (born in 2020 or earlier), 5 km from age 8 (born in 2018 or earlier), 10 km and 21 km from age 14. Transfers and distance upgrades cost 200,000 VND per request; the deadline for changing participant details is 23:59 on 31 October 2026.

   Under the current plan, Lam Vien Square (Quảng trường Lâm Viên) and the Xuan Huong Lake area are the main race venue. iRace's event page lists a 05:00–12:00 window; start times for each distance, the race-kit schedule and detailed maps have not been announced yet.
