Concert «Jimmii Nguyễn»

   For the overseas Vietnamese community, certain songs are a whole landscape of memory. And the man behind many of them — Jimmii Nguyễn — brings that era of nostalgia to the The Nest stage at Mây Lang Thang near Dalat, joined by special guest Ngọc Phạm.

   Jimmii Nguyễn is a legend of Vietnamese-American music dating back to the early 1990s. Songs like "Hoa bằng lăng", "Bên em là biển rộng" and "Chuyện tình buồn" made him an idol of the Vietnamese diaspora — romantic love stories told over a guitar. His warm, low voice and his storytelling carry an unmistakable signature.

   Guest Ngọc Phạm adds another colour to the night, bringing those older love songs closer to today's audience from a fresh angle. The meeting of a monument and a companion voice promises many quiet, moving moments.

   Among the pines at sunset, in the cool of the highlands, the love songs of the 1990s seem to find just the right place to ring out. The intimate open-air stage makes the memories feel all the more alive.

   Please note: The Nest is at 519 Thôn Măng Lin, Lang Biang ward, about 12 km from central Dalat — set off early, and you can use the organiser's shuttle. As it's an evening outdoor show, bring warm clothes. Children under 1 m are free with an adult; 1–1.2 m pay a 70% surcharge, 30% refunded at the desk.
