Concert «Hà Nhi»

   A voice with a characteristic rasp on a rooftop in central Da Lat, starting at sunset — the concert is staged so that the surrounding hills act as a backdrop while the room stays small. This is a case where paying for proximity makes sense: you hear the breath between the lines.

   The singer is Hà Nhi, born Trần Hà Nhi, from Nghệ An province. She came to attention on Vietnam Idol 2015, reaching the final four, and the hit «Ai rồi cũng sẽ khác» settled her reputation. «Chưa Quên Người Yêu Cũ» won her the Làn Sóng Xanh breakthrough award in 2022, the same year she appeared on «The Masked Singer» as Miêu Quý Tộc. Her tone — warm and slightly cracked — is built for exactly the ballad repertoire this programme runs on.

   The organiser is Golden Sun, which also runs the hotel of the same name, and the La Maritza series operates in other cities too. Concerts here are staged one at a time, roughly one a month, so the calendar never blurs.
