MMA event «LION Championship 36»

For one night, the ballroom of a beachfront resort becomes an MMA cage: fans sit close to the octagon, while the poster shows two fighters staring straight into the camera before the bout.

LION Championship 36 takes place on the evening of 10 October 2026 at The Grand Hồ Tràm - Ball Room, Vũng Tàu. It's the 36th edition of Vietnam's largest professional MMA promotion, broadcast on VTVcab.

One bout is already confirmed: in the 60kg division, Nguyễn Hợp Hải - chasing his third win in the promotion - faces Trương Vi Nhạt, who is looking for a strong debut in his new weight class. The full fight card will be announced by the organisers in the run-up to the event.

Recent editions of the promotion (LC33, LC34) sold tickets from 350,000 VND via Ticketbox; LC36 pricing will follow the official ticket page once sales open.

It suits both regular followers of Vietnamese MMA and anyone curious to watch a professional fight night for the first time - a small arena, close to the action, a different atmosphere from watching on a screen.
