Race «Trang An Marathon 2026»

   A run through the core of Tràng An — the only site in Southeast Asia inscribed by UNESCO as both natural and cultural heritage — on a flat, wide course that passes landmarks most visitors reach only by boat.

   This is the sixth edition, organised by Vũ Media (VRace) together with the Ninh Bình provincial department of culture and sport.

   The essentials:

• — Four distances: 5, 10, 21 and 42 km, all on flat ground
• — The route passes the ancient capital of Hoa Lư, the temple of King Lê Đại Hành and Bái Đính pagoda
• — This season's theme is «Sải Bước Thần Tốc» — a stride like lightning, with a war elephant on the official poster
• — The current Standard rate holds until 1 October 2026

   It is a sound choice for a first long race: almost no elevation, even surfacing, and scenery good enough that you stop counting kilometres. With family in tow, the 5K and 10K fit neatly into an ordinary Ninh Bình weekend.

   Entry is priced by distance, from the 5K up to the full marathon; no rate has been announced yet for after 1 October.

   November here is dry and cool — the most comfortable running weather Ninh Bình gets all year.
