Grand Final «Miss World 2026»

   The oldest beauty pageant on the planet crowns its winner in Vietnam for the first time, on a seafront stage built for roughly 20,000 people and beamed live around the world. If you are anywhere on the south-central coast in early September, this is the night Nha Trang turns out for.

   This is the 73rd edition and the season marking 75 years of Miss World. From 29 August more than 120 national representatives gather in the city, closing a route that has already taken them through Quảng Ninh, Hải Phòng and Hồ Chí Minh City.

   At a glance:

• — the final stage in Khánh Hòa province runs from 27 August to 7 September, with the crowning night as its finish;
• — the run-up highlight is «Dances of the World», staged on the evening of 2 September with about 130 contestants in national dress;
• — the community programme includes a flag-raising ceremony themed «Vinh quang Khánh Hòa - Việt Nam» and a meeting with navy servicemen, a memorial for fallen soldiers, scholarships for local schoolchildren and tributes to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, plus filming at the province's landmarks;
• — Vietnam is represented by Lê Nguyễn Bảo Ngọc, who won the Miss Intercontinental title in 2022;
• — co-produced by the Miss World Organization and Công ty TNHH Quảng cáo Thương mại và Đào tạo Sen Vàng.

   Provincial authorities put attendance at the square itself at more than 10,500, on top of the global television audience. Before the venue was confirmed, Miss World chair Julia Morley and her team personally inspected Hà Nội, Hải Phòng and Nha Trang.

   It will appeal to anyone who follows the international pageant circuit, to viewers who enjoy large open-air live broadcasts, and to travellers already planning an early-September break on the coast. Nha Trang sits about 40 minutes from Cam Ranh International Airport, the arrival gateway for the delegations.

   Admission arrangements and ticket prices have not been announced yet - the organisers will publish them closer to the date, so keep an eye on the pageant's official channels. Book accommodation early if you plan to be in town that week: the whole final stage draws heavy crowds.

   Come and watch the 73rd crown change hands - it is the first time it happens in this country.
