Show «Ký Ức Hội An» — «Nón Cờ» edition (Hoi An Memories)

   Hundreds of performers raise conical hats patterned with Vietnam's red flag and golden star, turning a riverside stage into one vast crimson canvas. For the National Day holiday, Hoi An's famous open-air spectacle gets a special patriotic edition — a striking reason to give one of your evenings to Memories Island.

   What the «Nón Cờ» edition adds

   According to the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center, the highlight is a mass scene in which hundreds of performers simultaneously lift flag-patterned nón lá hats, backed by large-scale staging, light and music — a tribute to national pride timed to Vietnam's Independence Day.

   Worth knowing for the holiday week:
— the «Nón Cờ» scene runs only during the National Day week, after which the show returns to its regular version
— an extra performance is added on Tuesday evening, September 1, on top of the usual schedule
— the island is dressed up with red-themed holiday photo spots

   About the show

   «Ký Ức Hội An» (Hoi An Memories) is a real-scene production performed on a 25,000 m² open-air stage on an island in the Hoài River, retracing the history and culture of the old trading port through movement, music and light. The city tourism portal Danang Fantasticity presents it as Vietnam's largest outdoor real-scene show.
