Family and Kids«New Year Celebrations» at Anantara Hoi An Resort
About the event
On the evening of 31 December, Anantara Hoi An Resort hosts New Year Celebrations at Lanterns and the Hoi An Riverside area, keeping the «Gold & Silver» theme from Christmas Eve.
From 7 to 11pm: spectacular live stations of epicurean delights and live music to see out the year; after dinner, Hoi An Riverside hosts a midnight countdown, a floating lantern ritual on the river, and a DJ spinning into the night. Kids get a dedicated area and a special movie.
New Year's Eve gala dinner is US$275 per adult (about 7,010,000₫, food only); free for children aged 0-5, with 50% off for ages 6-11.
If you'd rather welcome the new year by the river than in a crowded city club, this is worth the splurge - the floating-lantern ritual is a genuinely Hoi An way to see out the year.
