Vinahouse night «Ham Chơi Vinahouse Edition pres. Linh Ku» at The Observatory

Saigon collective Hamchoi.worldwide throws a vinahouse night at The Observatory and brings in Linh Ku from Hanoi. For the crew it is the last party in town until a new venue opens, and for the club itself it is one of the last nights: The Observatory closes at the end of October.

The organisers bill Linh Ku as one of the original kings of vinahouse from the 9x generation, those born in the 1990s, joined by the city's underground vinahouse stars.

At a glance: who plays where

   — Club Room: Jay Lee, Phát Paris, Dora, Linh Ku (1 to 2 AM), Khoalykillah, tizone and Thúy Kiều on the closing set
— Terrace: L.A, Django, Hoya, then Chun, Captain Hook and others

Hamchoi.worldwide calls itself a collective born in Vietnam that treats each party as an open playground where friends from around the world meet, dance and experience Vietnam's nightlife. The crew's previous vinahouse edition was also held at The Observatory, on 1 August.

The Observatory opened in 2013 and is one of Ho Chi Minh City's longest-running electronic music venues. In September the club told Resident Advisor it would close after 13 years, citing rising rent and limits on inviting artists from abroad.

The night is for vinahouse fans and for anyone who wants one more dance at The Observatory before it shuts.

Early bird tickets are sold online until 17:00 on the day of the party.

If you have been wanting to hear vinahouse in a proper club setting, this is a chance to catch The Observatory before it closes.
