Club night «Gonno» at The Observatory

   Gonno is back at The Observatory: the Japanese DJ is a long-time friend of the Saigon club and, by the Obs's own account, has played there more times than anyone can count. If house and techno are your thing, this is a Friday worth keeping free.

   Gonno is an integral part of Japan's house and techno movement. He has released music on International Feel, Beats In Space and Ostgut Ton, collaborated with Nick Höppner and taken his sound to dancefloors around the world. The Obs describes his sets as melodic, acid-tinged and eclectic, full of unexpected turns and with a real sense of storytelling behind the decks.

   Joining him across the night, with both the Terrace and the Club Room open:

— Hibiya Line
— Dan Lo
— Soyoon, a newer name in Saigon who has already played the Obs several times

   The support comes from long-time Obs friends and familiar faces of the Saigon scene, so the night works both for those who have followed Gonno for years and for anyone wanting a snapshot of the local sound.

   The event is for guests aged 18 and over.
