Beer festival «Tiger Crystal» 2026

About the event

   At the peak of the Saigon heat, the park in the middle of District 1 turns into a deliberately cold playground for five days straight. The Crystal Bar is built as one route through three levels, each cooler than the last: the ground level is a chamber held at minus one degree that you walk into while the street outside sits in the mid-thirties, the second sends chilled beer along a conveyor belt, and the third is the bar itself at the top, where the performances happen.

   The talking point is the jump tower in the middle of the city: you drop from 10 metres, land in a burst of cold mist, and a camera rig catches the whole thing.

   The organisers have announced performers for the last three evenings:

  • — 14 August — singer Kay Trần; the same evening climber Phan Thanh Nhiên, who has summited Everest four times, takes the 10-metre jump;
  • — 15 August — singer (S)TRONG Trọng Hiếu;
  • — 16 August — singer Bùi Công Nam.

   No performers have been named for the first two days, 12 and 13 August, though the whole build is open.

   The stop immediately before Ho Chi Minh City was Can Tho in mid-July. The organisers counted more than 11,000 visitors across five days there and over 500 jumps from the tower — useful numbers for guessing how busy the peak hours will be here.

   It suits a group looking for an outdoor evening with no booking required, office workers who want somewhere to cool down after work, and anyone drawn to temporary builds that stand for a few days and then disappear. No ticket, no registration — you simply turn up.

   The build stands on the Lê Lai side of the park, next to the glass skylight of the Bến Thành metro station; Công viên 23 Tháng 9 is long, so aim for that end. Two things to know before you go: the event is strictly for over-18s, and the organisers spell out the obvious — if you have been drinking, do not ride or drive.

   The daily line-up and any changes are posted on the Tiger Beer Vietnam page. Five days, free entry, right in the centre of District 1 — worth timing an evening around.
