Women's volleyball «SEA V.League (SEA V.Cup) 2026» — Leg 1

   Four national women's teams in one hall in Hanoi: Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines play a single round robin, and the leg is decided on the final table rather than by a final.

   For anyone in Hanoi this is a chance to watch the Vietnamese women at home — the team meets Indonesia and then Thailand at Dong Anh.

   Thailand is the most decorated side in the competition with eight titles, but has brought a young squad this time. Last season the Vietnamese women beat them for the first time in history and took the leg, which makes the rematch the fixture everyone is waiting for.

   The team is coached by Nguyễn Tuấn Kiệt. A week earlier the Vietnamese men won a SEA V.Cup leg for the first time, so expectations here are high.

   One practical note: the arena is in Dong Anh, on the northern edge of Hanoi rather than downtown, so allow real travel time from the centre.
