   Thể Công – Viettel, nicknamed the Red Whirlwind, the Army's club, founded in 1954 as Thể Công - a name stripped from the club in 2009 and only handed back in November 2023. Counting predecessor competitions, it is Vietnam's most decorated club with 19 national titles, six of them in the V.League era; last season they finished runner-up.

   The visitors, Bắc Ninh (the Kinh Bac club), one of the league's youngest clubs, founded in 2023 and promoted to V.League 1 within a few seasons - its league slot transferred from the Gia Định club. The head coach is Paulo Foiani.
