Creative market «Big Village Project Vol.8»

   A Saturday afternoon of handmade stalls, a clothes swap and a DJ-led dancefloor in a big garden: if you like small creative markets with a real community feel, this one is worth a visit.

   Big Village Project describes itself as a creative market and community event where local makers sell clothes, jewellery, crochet, handmade soaps and other trinkets. This is its eighth edition.

   At a glance:

• — Clothes and book swap: bring up to 5 items and trade them for something else
• — DJs and a dancefloor: AiLien, TaoFu, Di Linh
• — Banh mi, coffee and drinks from Five Eggs Coffee, plus haircuts and caricatures
• — For the first time, an open studio where local artists share their work in a free and open setting

   It suits anyone who likes hunting for handmade things, meeting Hanoi's creative crowd, or simply spending a slow afternoon: there is a large garden to hang out in, and more bustle closer to the music.

   According to Resident Advisor, entry is 4 USD (about 110,000 VND).
