Family and KidsMothers-to-be doing yoga together at a festival of light, babies not yet one year old crawling for the finish line while the whole family cheers: KidsPlaza's Mom-to-be & Baby Festival returns to Hanoi for two days built entirely around families with young children. If you are expecting or have a child aged four or younger, this is a chance to get the whole family moving and capture a few of your baby's firsts.
This year's theme is “Growing with Love – Kiến tạo thế hệ hạnh phúc” (building a happy generation), and the festival is run by the KidsPlaza mother-and-baby store chain. After Hanoi it moves on to Ho Chi Minh City on 7–8 November 2026.
The main activities (the organiser's place counts for prenatal yoga, Bé Bò, Iron Racer and Family Day are totals for Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City combined):
The hosts are MCs Thanh Trung (Thành Trung) and Nguyen Khang (Nguyên Khang), and the prenatal yoga is led by coach Swarup Chatterjee.
The festival is aimed at mothers from the fourth month of pregnancy, families with children from 7 months to 4 years, and grandparents looking for a weekend out with the little ones: every activity is split by age, so each child joins the part that suits them.
The highlight this year is the WeFamily Awards 2026, under the message “Phi thường mẹ ơi!” (“Extraordinary, Mum!”). The annual award has four categories: mothers with an inspiring parenting journey, “million-view” mums and content creators, the family members (husbands, grandparents, relatives) who share the childcare, and mothers-to-be who enjoy their pregnancy. The jury includes journalist Tran Mai Anh (Trần Mai Anh), Associate Professor Tran Thu Huong (Trần Thu Hương), head of clinical psychology at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and Phi Quoc Thuyen (Phí Quốc Thuyên), editor-in-chief of Báo Phụ nữ Việt Nam (Vietnam Women's newspaper). Public voting runs until 2 October, and the gala evening is on 4 October.
KidsPlaza held the 2025 festival in Hanoi too, and this year it comes back to the capital.
You need to register in advance on the festival website: choose the city, fill in your details and pick the activities; registration costs nothing. For prenatal yoga, the crawling challenge, Iron Racer and Family Day, a place is only confirmed after the organisers call you to check your details. You will be asked to upload the child's birth certificate or a prenatal check-up record (private medical details can be covered), and the child's age is counted on the day of the event. Keep the QR code: you will need it to check in.
Organisers' email: [email protected].
Two festival days are a good excuse to get the family moving, cheer your little one on and meet other families on the same journey.
